Event: KVK Live Adviesdagen
Date: 23 t/m 26th of November
Commissioned by: D&B Eventmarketing
Let’s look at the bright side of life! Thanks to COVID-19 Neoc in 2020 has had the opportunity to build several custom made TV-settings. In this case it was a set-design for the KVK Live Adviesdagen. Innovative to this setting was the motorised rotating stage. Through this stage three different settings(Keynote, interview, forum-table) could be recalled. The entire design was based upon the corporate identity of KVK and optimally connected to the message they wanted to deliver.
Event: LELY product launch
Date: October 2020
Location: Keijzer Farm, Gorinchem
Commissioned by: D&B Eventmarketing
For the first time in the history of Neoc that one of our designs was received with a loud moo!
At Lely everything’s about cows. For that reason we thought that there was no better place to build their studio than in a barn.
One of their own farms acted as the setting for the presentation of three new leading products. Beforehand it was exciting how the cows would react, but they tolerated us well and we are looking back on a really nice assignment.
Event: IDEA TEC
Date: September 2020
Location: Sugar City, Halfweg
Commissioned by: IDEA
Neoc was responsible for the concept and set-design of this years online edition of The Experience Conference. The purpose was to symbolically unite the IDEA agencies, partners and event professionals. The whole setting was created around an enormous satellite dish from which the event was broadcasted to several smaller satellite events. By making optimal use of the location and by placing all technical facilities in vision a nice dynamic studio was created.
Event: FRUIT LOGISTICA
Date: January 2020
Location: Messe Berlin
Commissioned by: WINK
FRUIT LOGISTICA is the most important trade fair for the international fruit and vegetable trade. In 2019, almost 3,300 exhibitors from 90 countries attended. Neoc traveled to Berlin on behalf of WINK to provide the Nature’s Pride stand with power, lighting and AV equipment. The eye-catcher was the V-shaped LED screen above the stand. Custom corners have been used on the front, so that the image flowed seamlessly.
Event: NN Hackathon
Date: September 2019
Location: Fokker Terminal, The Hague
Commissioned by: Bureau voor Reuring
For the third year on a row Neoc supported Bureau voor Reuring during the NN-hackathon 2019. During 24 hours of non-stop coding the 250 IT professionals came together to code clever solutions. Neoc custom designed and manufactured the desk lights. Through mounting the LED-lighting on the desks a huge saving on local rigging costs and power consumption was realized. The LED-lights could be individually controlled which gave nice spectacular possibilities during the opening and closing ceremony.
In co-production with Studiorats we’ve designed and realised “The Process”. An immersive 270 degree experience in which Kiremko showcased all the steps from raw material to their end-product. The guests were seated on rotatable chairs and followed all the steps in the process. A LED timeline represented the various phases during the process. Together with Studiorats we were responsible for concept, set-design, technical realisation, content and script.
Event: Opening BIC
Date: September 2019
Location: Brainport Industries Campus, Eindhoven
Commissioned by: Van Hoof Produkties
On the 3rd of September His Majesty King Willem-Alexander officially opened the new Brainport Industries Campus(BIC) in Eindhoven. Neoc was asked by Van Hoof Produkties to design and realize the plenary setting. The 1600 guest were placed around a 360 degrees LED screen that formed the iconic centerpoint in the venue. BIC’s logo was used as a printed ceiling above the stage and supplied an appropriate background for the press. In all its simplicity the set design optimally blended in the industrial surroundings.
We’ve teamed up with WINK for another cool project. BUDX is Bud’s global program that unites and spotlight outstanding creative minds in music and culture from around the world. For this experiential platform Bud linked with Mixmag for 2 days of music, art, fashion, talks, masterclasses and more. WINK has coloured temp. red and filled it with culturally relevant panels by day and stellar performances that crossed musical genres by night. Add an installation by Nick Verstand & Salvador Breed, a capsule collection launch by The New Originals, a sneak preview into the DJ Faces by Joss Kottmann and a live a/v performance by Raito. x Boris Acket custom and tailor-made for the main room. Bud is definitely here.
For the 5th time on a row Neoc was responsible for the complete technical production of this event. For the first year Neoc was also responsible for the design and production of the Gold Stands. 13 islands each consisting of 4 booths were built.
Welcome to the King’s Alley! Together with our friends from WINK we’ve turned Sugar City into a kick-ass Berlin style nightclub. From entrance to exit a complete experience was created. The heart of the club was formed by a gigantic red cube that optimally blended into the iconic building. As eyecatcher a triangular lighting rig was positioned above the DJ. The rig consisted of 100 old-school PAR64 lighting bulbs. That proved again, new is not always better.
Neoc normally isn’t into festivals but for this one we’ve made an exception. At Lowlands festival together with a great team of partners we have worked on “La Terraza”. A lookout hill with multiple terraces where visitors could enjoy their fresh cup of Nespresso coffee. In the heart of the hill a “Secret Getaway” was created in which the visitors watched an immersive timecode show on 16 HD screens.
For 7 nights long Vodafone Ziggo has treated the city of Utrecht to an abstract light artwork called “Connections”. For Neoc the biggest challenge was in the fact that the location is situated on top of the roof of the bus station. All equipment had to be lifted. To mount the lighting fixtures Neoc developed custom brackets to mount onto the existing columns. The complete project has been realized within 3 months.
For the celebration of 100 years Plieger we’ve turned one of their own warehouses into a great event venue. A festival size stage was built with minimal disruption of the on-going logistical activities. For Neoc it was great fun through the extreme high level of details in the design.
The Liberty Global Technology Summit is a premier, invite only event that brings together employees and trusted technology partners from around the world for an unforgettable and inspiring day of knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking. For the 5th time in a row Neoc was responsible for the complete technical production.
Event: Think with Google 2018
Date: November 2018
Location: Gashouder, Amsterdam
Commissioned by: The Oval Office
During Think with Google you can uncover the latest marketing research and digital trends. Neoc has been teaming up with The Oval Office for the design and technical realization of the Dutch edition.
We love building high level and extremely detailed set-designs. This was one of them! For the Vodafone Business Partner of the Year 2018 event we’ve built this combination of high-res LED screens, circles and lines.
During the sneak preview shows Volvo is showing the brand new Volvo V60 to their customers. Especially for this occasion Neoc has built a surround cinema that immerses the clients in a truly 360 degree experience.
You don’t always need state of the art technology to make a lasting impression! For Google we’ve created a minimalistic set design that consisted out of a suspended pattern of white hexagons. They were mounted in different layers. Through positioning LED-lights between the layers a variation of atmospheres could be created.
In August we’ve travelled to Italy for a corporate job involving the Formula One races. Unfortunately easyJet wasn’t that fast and in the end we’ve departed 10 hours late. On a total of eight crewmembers that makes up for a 80 hours delay in production time. Thanks to the great team effort we’ve managed to complete the installation on time for rehearsals and show. Looking back on a heavy but rewarding job. Thanks to Verwiel the creative agency for the trust in us!
In collaboration with The Oval Office Neoc created this nice setup for Google Cloud. It’s a combination of a printed backwall with a 3.9mm LED-screen. As basis the existing AV-equipment of the location was used. Where necessary Neoc supplied additional facilities. All technicians were supplied by Neoc.
A completely custom build wooden grand stand, two 25mtr 8K widescreens, all exhibition walls, signage, AV-facilities and less than 18 hours construction time. Through careful logistical planning and thorough preparation Neoc pulled it off! For the third time Neoc was asked to design and supply all technical facilities for think with Google. Design, 3D-visualisation and realisation by Neoc.
This is what we love doing the most! Making technical solutions and stage design interact perfectly. For this event a custom backwall was created with 3D elements, logo’s and a built-in LED-screen. Although it was a one day event the set-design could have been there forever.
Neoc regularly works internationally. This time we went to Paris for a high-level corporate job.
Neoc supplied all technical facilities for a three day business meeting of a big multinational. The set has been completely custom built with extreme attention to details. Transport, logistical planning and crew-hotels were also arranged by Neoc.
This year’s Tech Summit design was extremely challenging. The set-up was completely mirrored back to back. During the day-program the guests were positioned on the grandstand. The stage was completely heightened to the same height as the guests. During the evening program(dinner) the guest entered the floor of the arena and discovered that the back of the stage was identical to the front. Our biggest challenge for this setup was that there was no backstage.
At the beginning of June Neoc was busy with Hyperloop One’s Vision for Europe summit. Hyperloop is a concept for moving passengers and/or cargo at airline speeds at a fraction of the cost of air travel. Nine potential European routes were unveiled at the event. They were presented as part of the all-day summit that included a panel discussion around the economic advantages of Hyperloop and a keynote address from Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, Melanie Schultz van Haegen. Neoc was responsible for the set-design, technical production and the live-stream.
For the third time Neoc was asked to design a custom set-design for the iconic EYE-Film museum. This time International Orange asked us to design a setting for the VodafoneZiggo Business Partner of the Year Event.
The museum is located at the IJ-canal and has windows all around. Our challenge is always to respect the buildings design and not to block the view. That combined with the amount of daylight caused us to choose for a custom LCD-wall with white glossy finishing. The screen was placed on slim stands to maintain optimal views.
Last week Neoc assisted Volvo Netherlands with the introduction of a new car. During the sneak-preview shows the XC60 was introduced to a select group of guests. In the showroom of Volvo Netherlands a pre-programmed timecode show was played which showed the key features of the car. A custom LED-wall was built to intensify the experience for the guests.
This January we produced a high level corporate event at the AFAS-live. Highlights of the event were a 34 meter wide 8K video-mapping screen and a moving “mirror box” with dancers inside.
In collaboration with BigVis we were responsible for design, video-content and technical production on location.
After the spectacular design of 2015, this year it was hard to come up with a design that would equal it. Where 2015’s design was primarily based on a large LED screen, in 2016 we opted for a more decor-like approach. A custom-made backdrop was created on which the logo was executed in tape art. The screens were integrated in the wall whereby a piece of design future evolved that suited the iconic space perfectly. Totally different from 2015 but to our minds just as successful!
During the annual “Think with Google” event, Google presents its vision on the future of online marketing. During this edition, there were cases, presentations, demos and playful installations. All presented in a hip, open and techy environment. Neoc was responsible for the realization of the plenary setting, the demo areas and the objects behind the bars. By providing all these elements with the same look & feel everything was clearly connected. All of the elements had a slightly rough appearance which went well with the industrial location.
Once every so often, you are given the opportunity to really realise something special and this was such an opportunity. A custom-built set design was especially realised for this event in the location formerly serving as the chapel. The challenge for us was to create a modern setting which did not detract from this grand building. With this aim in mind, rectangular LED panels were developed which by the pattern in which they were hung formed a minimalistic background for the speakers. Seamless LED panels mounted in a floating fashion on a piece of design furniture were employed to project the presentations on. The biggest compliment we received, is that the majority of the guests thought that this set was a permanent feature of the location.
This year the 10th edition of the Technology Summit took place, giving us an excuse to really go to town with a spectacular set design! In 2 days’ time Neoc built a set of over 40 metres wide, consisting of circa 70 polygons varying in sizes of between 1 and 3 metres. All the sides of the polygons were fitted with RGB LED strips. In all, between 700 and 800 metres of strip was incorporated in the design. The multi-purpose set provided the opportunity to for the day programme create a calm, subdued atmosphere, while during the evening programme the wall formed a spectacular backdrop for the various acts, including the SANOSTRA Flying Drummers, who moved up and down in front of the set with the aid of electrical high-speed winches.
On 12 May Fundament took place in Sugar City. This is Funda’s annual relations event for NVM estate agents and their employees. Sugar City is a unique industrial location that needs hardly any decoration. The choice was made to only deploy one large eye-catcher in the form of a projection screen. So Neoc realized a custom-made projection screen that followed the contours of the Funda logo. On this screen both the presentations and the live camera images could be viewed. Neoc also provided all other additional audiovisual facilities. Funda, Bureau voor Reuring and Neoc look back on a successful event.
Over the past 3 years, much time and effort has been put into the redevelopment of Winkelcentrum Gelderlandplein. Neoc, on the authority of Hadimassa, has supplied all the technical facilities for the reopening. A raised tent has been placed on the parking deck, which both on the inside and the outside has been finished to an extremely high standard. Such a high standard in fact that the guests could hardly tell they were in a temporary building.
Over the past few years, we were regularly to be found in the Ziggo Dome during various corporate productions. This is the reason that Hadimassa chose us to take care of the technical production of the Ziggo Mega Dojo for them. The eye-catchers during this event were the specially developed cubes. The enormous cubes, 43 in total, were internally fitted out with LED lighting whereby they could reflect various atmospheres. Playful and colourful for the daytime programme with children, and smart and professional for the evening programme for adults. We look back on a very successful production!
More and more often we are being asked to think along creatively at an early stage. Meaning our clients profit optimally from our technical know-how. During Robeco Outlook various economists take a look at the future of global economic developments. Neoc translated this “global” theme into a revolutionary stage design. Central to the design was a spherical dome-shaped structure. This was covered entirely in LED strips creating an extremely multifaceted setting. Both our client and the visitors were very impressed by this futuristic design.
During the afterparty of the Swiss opening night of the latest James Bond movie ‘Spectre’, Heineken presented two spectacular entertainment shows. The basis of the shows consisted of specially composed music, which was performed by live musicians. In addition the show had custom video content, dancers, aerials and special FX. Neoc was commissioned by DVP Europe Eventmarketing to execute the technical production. The complete project was realized within a month.
